When choosing a mentor or a coach, there are some qualities you should look for. Here are a few tips—
      - Choose a good listener, able to empathize
      - Who shows respect for other peoples' thoughts and opinions
      - Has the flexibility to understand alternative points of view
      - A passion for business, and for new ideas
      - Honesty in all things, including expression and thought
      - Experience in various businesses and careers
      - Well-travelled, confident and encouraging
      - Capable of giving effective, practical advice
      - A supportive hands-off approach, that allows you to make and take responsibility for your own decisions
      - Eager to offer their time and skills for your benefit.     Instead of looking for a consultant with a similar background to you, find someone to coach you based on their unique experience. How to get the most out of your mentor

  Make a commitment to your individual goals. Focus on what is important to you and your personal agenda. Think and reflect on business and other issues in a quiet place that is totally directed towards you and your needs. Address challenges, habits and behaviors that you know are hindering you, and be prepared to share them with your mentor. Start doing something about your future now – not tomorrow – Now!  You will get faster and better results if you do these things in the spirit of play, and your business will move to a higher level.

 Do you remember those exciting days when you started out? How thrilled you were with all the possibilities that lay ahead – all the potential you felt and the riches you were going to enjoy. How many of those dreams are still unrealized?

    You probably talked excitedly about your dreams with friends. Where are those friends now?
